Local Plan Review – Regulation 18 Proposed Housing and Mixed-Use Site Allocations Consultation (Thursday 3rd July to Thursday 28th August 2025)

South Kesteven District Council will be consulting on the Regulation 18 Proposed Housing and Mixed-Use Site Allocations and supporting Sustainability Appraisal and Habitat Regulation Assessment from Thursday 3rd July until 11:59pm Thursday 28th August 2025

Reference hardcopies will be available to view at the following addresses:

  • Customer Service Centre (located next to the Savoy Cinema), The Picture House, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham, NG31 6TT [Monday – Friday: 9am – 3pm]
  • South Kesteven Community Point & Library, 3 Abbey Road, Bourne, PE10 9EF [Monday: 9am-5pm, Wednesday: 9am-6pm, Friday: 9am-1pm, Saturday: 9am-1pm]
  • At libraries in Grantham, Stamford, Market Deeping, and Bourne during normal opening hours.

Workshops with the parish councils are being held during the consultation period. This is the opportunity for you to share your views and concerns on the Proposed Housing and Mixed-Use Site Allocations and speak to planning officers. The following workshops are taking place:

  • Bourne (Bourne Corn Exchange, 3 Abbey Rd, Bourne, PE10 9EF) – Wednesday 30th July 6pm – 8pm
  • Grantham (Witham Room, South Kesteven District Council, St Peter’s Hill, Grantham, NG31 6PZ) – Monday 11th August 6pm – 8pm

 

If you wish to attend one of the above workshops, please notify the Planning Policy Team by Friday 18th July. You can do this by emailing planningpolicy@southkesteven.gov.uk or calling 01476 406080; please state the names of the attendees, the workshop they are attending, and any dietary requirements as refreshments will be provided at the session. Please note due to capacity at the venue attendance is restricted to no more than two people per town council/parish council.

 

In-person drop-in sessions will be held during the consultation period, where the public and stakeholders are able to view the consultation documents and speak to planning officers. These are being held at the following locations:

  • Bourne Market (car park immediately behind the Corn Exchange building) – Thursday 17th July 10am – 1pm
  • Grantham Market (Narrow Westgate) – Saturday 2nd August 10am – 1pm
  • Stamford Market (Broad Street and Ironmonger Street) – Friday 1st August 10am – 1pm
  • Market Deepings Community Library (The Park, High Street, Market Deeping, PE6 8ED) – Wednesday 30th July 2pm – 5pm

How to comment on the Proposed Housing and Mixed-Use Site Allocations

Response forms are also available to download from the Council’s website or can be collected from the Council offices.

 

Please note copies of all comments will be made available for the public to view, including the name of the responder who submitted the representation; therefore, your response cannot be treated as confidential. The Council will not make public any personal addresses or signatures.
