RESOLVED

3-42/26 Public Open Forum

A police officer attended the community speed watch day in the village during July.  Numerous vehicles were found to be driving well over the speed limit.  The police officer in attendance was unaware of the speeding issues along the A1175 when entering the village.  The speedwatch team will continue to ensure that accurate information will be submitted to enable warning letters to be sent to perpetrators.

4-43/26 Declaration of Interest

None received

5-44/26 Co-option on Mrs S Woolfe

Cllr S Woolfe attended the Parish Council meeting from item 5.

6-45/26 Play Area

Correspondance from the chair of BPFMC explained that all repairs to their playing park are carried out by themselves.  Equipment and parts are obtained from the manufacturer.  BPFMC are happy to provide advice and assistance in the first instance.  The most recent inspection of Uffington playpark has highlighted a number of low-risk items that require maintenance.  It is preferable that these repairs require attention to prevent deterioration.

7-46/26 Local government Re-organisation

Cllrs Brown and Waterfall attended the meeting on Tuesday 22nd July regarding local government re-organisation.  An e-mail of the presentation was sent to Cllrs prior to the meeting.  Several proposals have been submitted by district councils in Lincolnshire with the Government decision expected in Spring 2026.
