Anglian Water completed their work on time but problems have failed to be fixed by them despite complaints from the Parish Council.

Pot-holes in and around the village are a continual problem and are regularly reported.

5. Reports

Cllr. Brown (present chairman of the Parish Council) gave his report which can be found on the Uffington Parish Council website.

6. Any other business

Stronger action was requested on maintenance of highways. There is an on-line reporting system which members of the public are invited to use: https://highways.lincolnshire.gov.uk/highways/

Extra staff have been made available for highway maintenance.

It was requested that a meeting with Highways be arranged re: dangerous bend at Newstead. Despite all objections, the speed limit on this stretch of road will be reduced to 50mph.

Speeding through the village. The speed sign has limited reach. Community police are now able to issue speeding tickets.

Parking around School Lane. This has become an issue again. Suggestions made: notify PCSO, repaint give way signs on road, resolve flooding.

Newstead Broadband. Newstead has broadband speed in the lowest 5% in the country. Residents have been unable to get faster broadband.

As there was no further business the meeting moved on to the AGM of the Parish Council at 20:20
